Crestron Toolbox is a diagnostics and maintenance program for Crestron device systems and Cresnet networks. The software is capable of running several administrative system maintenance operations, from network ID setting to diagnosing possible system issues. The diagnostic tools of the program include a SIMPL debugging utility that is capable of simulating system device inputs through a virtual interface, as well as a voltage level sampler that can test levels on connected Cresnet wiring to check for faults in network cables or hardware.
The program also comprises the MediaTools utilities, which help users set up and diagnose Crestron-range media devices and processors. Audio and video adjustment through multiple settings and configuration selections are possible through the MediaTools applications, and users also get access to real-time effects for audio systems so that they can instantly see (or hear, more precisely) the results of their selections.
The Crestron Toolbox program is available for Windows 2003, Windows XP SP2, Windows Vista and Windows 7 computers, with 32-bit and 64-bit support for the latter three systems. It also sports an intuitive, user-friendly graphical interface that has support for drag and drop operations.
